About Orlando H. Pile, M.D.

Received his Medical Doctorate at the College of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Medical School and Internal Medicine, Residency training at Charles R. Drew University/Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital in Los Angeles. He established his Internal Medicine practice in Inglewood, California in 1981 and after years of working with patients with overweight issues and inadequate weight management referral centers, he founded the Emerald Star Weight Management Center. His vast medical experience enabled him to provide a personal touch in developing a successful formula in not only how to lose the excessive weight but to effectively manage a proper lifestyle that maintained the weight loss. Dr. Pile provided a Weight Loss Step By Step program which not only ensure weight reduction but improve medical conditions such as Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, elevated Cholesterol, fatigue and lack of energy. Dr. Pile has weight management patients throughout the Los Angeles County area and as far as Arizona and Nevada.

He is presently collaborating with physicians of Alternative Medicine to promote ways to enhance the Immune System and improve Nutrition. Specifically, he has done extensive work with several nutraceuticals (Nutritional supplements) and other antioxidant products, which help improve the immune system and overall health status.

Dr. Pile has been a member of the Guyana Medical Relief Association, raising funds to purchase medical supplies and equipment for Guyana in South America. He is also a member and Medical Director of Caribbean Health Outreach, Inc. a medical mission group, which organizes health professionals throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean to dedicate their time and services to travel to Jamaica to provide health screenings and treatment to the indigent population in the Northern Region of the island. In addition to the health screenings, Dr Pile lectures on ‘HIV/AIDS-in the United States and the Caribbean,’ to the medical community and ‘HIV/AIDS & Sexual Transmittable Diseases’ to numerous schools incorporated in the communities receiving medical and Dental screenings and treatments. For the last sixteen years he has dedicated his time to raise funds and medical supplies to support the mission work.

He continues to collaborate with physicians of Alternative Medicine to promote ways to enhance the Immune System and improve Nutrition. Specifically, he has done extensive work with several nutriceuticals (nutritional supplements) and other antioxidant products, which help improve the immune system and overall health status. Despite his full schedule medical practice he remains involve with Sports Medicine in local community Youth and High School Athletic Programs.
